On Wednesday, 3 February 2010, in Centro Studi Bhaktivedanta main office in Ponsacco, CSB began to offer a cycle of lessons on the topic  “Knowing oneself for self improvement and realization with Yoga psychology and spirituality”.  This cycle of lessons will be held by Marco Ferrini.  Following are some subject discussed during the first lesson.

Last Wednesday, October 7th, at the Ponsacco Head Office of Centro Studi Bhaktivedanta, Marco Ferrini held the second lesson of the cycle: “Dante’s journey and Bhagavad-Gita;  the Psychological experience of Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise for the contemporary man.”
            The lesson was dedicated to the first part of the Divine Comedy and compared the concept of inferno described by Dante with the Hindu-Vedic literature, more specifically Bhagavad-Gita.

Lecturer: Marco Ferrini, Founder and President of Centro Studi Bhaktivedanta

The Course develops the subject that was entertained during the 26 September Conference held in Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
        Ferrini dedicated the first lesson to the contextualization of these two works, Bhagavad-Gita and Divine Comedy.  He underlined how they cannot be understood and compared without knowing the nature of the locations in which they are situated and the complex dynamics of the environment in which they were written which are geographically so far from each other and separated by millenniums.

Saturday, 26 September in the 500 and 200 centuries rooms of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, the Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri and Bhagavad-Gita from  the Indian tradition, compared by Marco Ferrini, have inspired and charmed about six hundred people from all over Italy.
