Saturday June 12th 2010, at the Carlo V Castle in the heart of Lecce, Marco Ferrini held an event titled “Dante’s Journey and Bhagavadgita. Psychological experience of Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise for the Contemporary Man”. A comparison never done before, was made between the two outstanding masterpieces of literature of Eastern and Western Cultures - the Gita and the Divine Comedy, Prof.Ferrini explored both literary works in their social, historical and political context and then developed the core of the message they share, by describing their impressive analogies.

The Meaning of Life and Death, Rebirth and Love
in the Gita and the Divine Comedy
Florence, Sunday 30 May 2010 Palazzo Vecchio, Salone de’ Cinquecento Lecturer: Marco Ferrini, Founder and President of Centro Studi Bhaktivedanta
On Sunday, 30 May in Florence at Palazzo Vecchio, in a wonderful historic Hall called Salone de’ Cinquecento, Marco Ferrini came back again to speak about a dialogue between two main masterpieces of literature that marked a turning point in the history of mankind and the spirituality of Eastern and Western Countries: the Bhagavad-gita and the Divine Comedy. This event, like the previous one, held last year on September 26th at Palazzo Vecchio, was organized by Centro Studi Bhaktivedanta under the auspices of the Municipality of Florence. Almost three hundred people, coming from different parts of Italy, gathered in the chamber.
